Superb Vintage Winterhalder & Hoffmeier Ting Tang Bracket Clock

Mahogany case

Presented to J. W. Heaword by the Members of Stockport Lacrosse Club on the occasion of his Marriage and in Recognition of his services to the club. December 1924.

Chimes twice on the 1/4 past, 4 times on the 1/2 past, 3 times on the 1/4 to and then the hours. This is how it got its name, the chime is a 2 tone chime, hence  Ting-Tang.

Subsidiary dial for regulation

It still retains its original silvered engraved dial with Roman Numerals, original Black Spade hands.

The superb German movement has had a full service with new mainsprings and keeps excellent time.

The clock is in original condition with no major restoration
